Who issues roofing permits in the Las Vegas Valley
A Las Vegas mailing address doesn't always mean the City of Las Vegas. Much of the Valley is unincorporated Clark County, and your address decides which building department reviews your roof. We confirm it, pull the permit under our license and schedule every inspection.
City of Las Vegas
Covers Downtown, Centennial Hills and much of Summerlin, along with neighborhoods across the central, northwest and east Valley.
Clark County
Covers the unincorporated towns, including Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor and Whitney. Southern Highlands and Mountain's Edge fall here too.
City of Henderson
Covers Henderson, including Green Valley, Anthem, Inspirada and the surrounding neighborhoods.
City of North Las Vegas
Covers North Las Vegas, including Aliante and the northern Valley.
Boulder City
Boulder City runs its own building department, separate from the four main Valley jurisdictions. We permit Boulder City roofs there directly.
A roofing contractor who knows the Las Vegas Valley
Roofs here wear out differently than roofs in milder climates. Summer heat and UV break down underlayment and sealants early, concrete tile often outlasts the layer beneath it, and monsoon storms from roughly July to September expose slipped tile and failed flashing.
Local also means knowing the paperwork. Many Valley neighborhoods have HOAs with approved tile profiles and colors. We prepare the submittal, wait for written approval and only then order materials.
Don't see your neighborhood?
We work across the entire Valley, including the City of Las Vegas, Paradise, Sunrise Manor, Whitney and every master-planned community in between. Call or text (702) 555-0142 and we'll confirm your address.
Common questions
What areas of the Las Vegas Valley do you serve?
We serve the whole Las Vegas Valley, including the City of Las Vegas, Summerlin, Centennial Hills, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Southwest Las Vegas, Southern Highlands, East Las Vegas and Boulder City. If your neighborhood isn't listed, call or text and we'll confirm it.
How do I know which building department handles my roof permit?
It depends on your exact address, not your mailing city. Many homes with a Las Vegas address are in unincorporated Clark County. We look up your parcel, confirm whether it's the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Henderson, North Las Vegas or Boulder City, and pull the permit there under our license.
Do you work with HOAs across the Valley?
Yes. Most master-planned communities in the Valley review roof material and color changes. We prepare the submittal with tile profiles, color samples and specs, track the review, and wait for written approval before ordering materials. If you already have an approval letter, we'll build your scope around it.
